Well I have reverged and now waiting for itunes to download the 1.1.1 something i noticed while doing the process dont know if it only happened to me but during the process did anyone else lose all system sounds liker right around the time you put in
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

also really got freaked out at the fact that i didnt have signal form my carrier but that might be because the phone was reverged... so lets see how it all turns out after the update...

if anyone has answer please respond on here or pm me....thanx

The revirginization of 1.0.2 workes!!!!

AFTER REVIRGINIZING 1.0.2 -> UPGRADE TO 1.1.1 RIGHT AWAY -> RESTORE 1.1.1 WITH ITUNES (VERRY NEEDED) -> JAILBREAK AND ACTIVE, UNLOCK WITH *#307# METHOD - WORKSSSSSSSS

THAT'S WHAT I'VE DONE SUCCESFULLY.

i just upgraded to 1.1.1 and jailbreakd/activated through carnaval. still no system sounds. will proceed with unlocking thru anysim 1.1.1

Aren't these the same steps? Or do you mean Upgrade to 1.1.1 after revirginizing and then re-sync all of your information back on the iPhone with iTunes?

Ok that's the same step:RESTORE 1.1.1 AFTER UPGRADING FROM REVIRGINED 1.02 TO 1.1.1

Wow, this method just seems to work. I tried the others including the scripted Dev Team method but it would always freeze. Then NVRAM got corrupt or something and I had to restore. I used PuTTY and I'll be returning this overheating iphone in no time . I hope I get an 8 gig in exchange.

Can this method use for iphone firmware 1.1.1 downgrade to 1.0.2.
and need to make it virgin back.

./bbupdater -v
./bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep when i put this command it goes fron 1 to 100 but at the end i get

error: failed to download .FLS: cound not verify downloaded image.
