Don't Forget The Last Step... (hint: load commcenter again), it can be done by typing the following command after you are done:

launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

So all the commands together will look like this:

cd /usr/revirginize
chmod 755 *
launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
./norz seczone.backup 0x3FA000 0x2000
./iUnlock ICE03.14.08_G.fls eliteloader.bin
./bbupdater -v
./bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep
./bbupdater -v
launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

and i would recommend rebooting your iphone once your done just to make sure, before upgrading it...

*Note: i have re-virginized 3 iphones (2 hardware unlocked and 1 using anySIM 1.0.2) and upgraded to 1.1.1, unlocked and working

For all who have FW differences, etc. READ my post earlier in this thread...
Use iEraser to wipe out broken firmware completely and than reflash eeprom
first than flash.

Tested on 4 phones now.

After getting the "Waiting for Data" screen I restarted my iphone... only to never boot up!!!

Crap... back to the drawing boards! So I was able to get into restore mode and put it back to 1.0.2. Ran apptappinstaller and ibrickr to get into the phone. uploaded all of the files and restarted.

I was able to get past backing up the NORZ but now I am getting this:

Error: Failed to download .FLS: Could not verify downloaded image.
Done

I get this after I run ( ./bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep ).

If I do another ./bbupdate -v it shows me the 04.01.13_G firmware still.

What's going on?

what should i do next?
go ahead and upgrade to 1.1.1 with itunes and than use 1 of the "ultimate" tutorials here?
will my phone contacts be safe?

After your revirginizing 1.02, upgrade directly to 1.1.1 (use itunes)
Restore 1.1.1 again (use itunes)
Unlocking the way for virgin 1.1.1, e.g "ultimate" tutorials.

YOUR CONTACTS ON IPHONE WILL BE ERASE. BUT IT'S NOT THE PROBLEM IF YOU SYNC WITH ITUNES ON PC BEFORE. YOU CAN SYNC BACK CONTACTS AFTER UNLOCK 1.1.1

to save on typing those lengthy commands, you can use

./iUnlock *.fls eliteloader.bin instead of
./iUnlock ICE03.14.08_G.fls eliteloader.bin

and


./bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep instead of
./bbupdater -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep
