    Thumbs up

I just helped my friends and again the instructions work. I noticed the reason alot of peoples phone don't work is because, they rerun the anysim software again after it gets unlocked. There for taking away the sound and adding no service.

I have gone through so many steps and these works 100%

    thanks

I have successfully unlocked my iphone.

However when i put my UK Vodafone sim card in, the signal fluctuated, often giving 'no service' and I wasn't able to make/receive calls. I put the sim back into my old phone, and it's not working fully there - so maybe a broken sim.

So I tried my wife's UK Orange sim in the iPhone. It seemed to work fine, but when the phone has been on standby for over a few minutes, it won't take incoming calls. I get a 'dead' tone on the phone I am calling from. Then I'll wake the iphone and calls will come in fine.

Is this the 'NO SERVICE issue'?

Hey thanks so much for this. I've tried it once now by issueing the two bbupdater commands in seperate commands, then followed the rest of the steps.

However, I'm not sure that this actually 'relocked' my phone. When I put a sim in there that was a NON-AT&T sim, it didn't report it as a bad sim.

Is there another way for me to 'relock' my phone again or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks again

    ps. PLEASE HELP! AAHHHH

Here is the output from the first method:

(please assume all steps were taken appropriately, albeit through osx; activated and jailbroken after previous unlock and restore to 1.0.2)

    # cd /
    # cd /usr/bin
    # chmod +x bbupdater
    # launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

besalva, what phone network are you part of?

I'm having the same problem. I just tried the long portion now and this is the output:
