Hello everyone,
I followed the (idiot proof) guide which uses CARNAVAL and anysim1.1 to jailbreak/activate my iphone .

It worked fine, but then all 3 of the iphones that i tried the method on cant seem to be recognized by any computer !!

They charge, they get into boot mode and DFU mode , but the pc wont see them when they are hooked up in normal mode unless they have photos on them taken by the camera then it sees it as an iphone camera , but itunes wont recognize them.

things tried to solve this (excluding restoring) :

1.Uninstalled/Reinstalled iTunes
2.Tried different PCs
3.Tried Different USB cables
4.Checked if apple mobile devices is started and stopped it and started it again a million times.
5.checked for apple mobile devices in device manager under usb controllers and even reinstalled the drivers .
6.tried all kinds of usb ports and no hubs are installed !

But nothing of that worked .
Its probably not an itunes problem cause the pc wont see the iphones at all as usb devices (unless they have photos on them and then sees them as cameras).

So PLEASE help before my friend kicks my ass, my gf leaves me and i commit suicide by overdosing on chlorine ! (thats 3 busted iphones there)

Let's try to solve your problem.

Which version of CARNAVAL did you use?
Are you having any issues related to the amount of available memory (300 MB issue)?
Are you allowed to restore the phones?

Thanks for the reply man, and i really appreciate your offer to help.

i used CARNAVAL 0.4, only one of them has an issue with the 300mb ( i cant check the other 2 with itunes because it doesnt see it but in settings>about it seems fine)
yeah i can go into boot/dfu mode, and restore is possible.
itunes will only recognise the iphone when its in Restore mode .
