OTB 1.1.1 downgrade to 1.0.2
Activated and Unlock with Anysim 1.1

Now want to upgrade back to 1.1.1, but failed everytime with an "unknown error Code 6"

Anyone know what I should do with it. Really want to get back to 1.1.1

after upgrading to 1.1.1 I downgraded my firmware with ibrickr then downgraded my baseband with this thread linked below. You may also have to virginize your baseband before upgrading...let me know how it goes

are you using a mac or pc?

for mac, use independence. the latest one.
you have to perform a special downgrade and THEN upgrade to 1.1.1.

On PC, try couple of times, but no luck to have the iphone upgarde to 1.1.1

iTune 7.4.1.

I just thought my iPhone was unlocked with anysim 1.1, so i didn't virginize it before i do the upgrade.

I'll give a try now...and see how it goes.

I didn't make it clear enough of what i did to this OTB 1.1.1

1, OTB 1.1.1 use http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com method and anysim 1.1 activated and unlocked the phone.

2, Downgrade 1.1.1 to 1.0.2. use iBrickr and PAYCAY activated again(no need to anysim again, it's auto unlocked after the activation)

3, Try to upgrade it back to 1.1.1, but stuck at the firmware restore with an unknown error code (6).

Current firmware version 1.0.2, baseband 04,01,13_G

So I really don't think I should try to virginize the phone and do the upgrade again. If i do so, i would need to flash the basband to old version03....._G.

Any ideas on this?

PS:i've done a lot of phones with all kinds of methods, this time just want to try if 1.0.2 with anysim 1.1 could be upgrade back to 1.1.1.
