Ok, i followed the instructions in another post to downgrade my otb 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 to jailbreak. The downgrade went well, but I cant get it out of recovery mode. I am running windows on all my pc's, and all have their own problems. My main pc (Vista) doesn't have the drivers for iphone in recovery mode (Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode) It is called Iboot under the failed to install error in vista. On my laptop (XP) iBrickr stays at the searching screen, but it does have the right drivers. obviously I cant run iNdependence and iPHUC says it has encountered an error every time i give one of the three listed commands to get it out of recovery. on the Iphone screen, it shows the dock cable plugging into the itunes logo. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ive been searching for like 2 hours and im goin crazy

are you sure you're using on iPhuc cmd keyword before each command?

cmd setenv auto-boot true
cmd saveenv
cmd fsboot

?

Also, not sure about missing Vista drivers for iPhone in recovery mode. Maybe you need to get them properly installed, but no clue how to do this on Vista.

ya i used cmd before each entry. Im not sure where to get the drivers. the normal iphone drivers installed, but not the recovery.

Just do another restore and you'll be fine!

when you say do another restore, do you mean re-install the 1.1.1 or run the restore button without shift. I re-tried the 1.1.1 and it didn't work, so im doing a regular restore.

Hey i got it out using iphuc. i didnt have the right version of applemobile.dll or whatever. it was to high. I am still looking for the vista drivers, but now i have a new problem. Whenever i turn off my phone it goes back into recovery mode once restarted. i have to give it the commands again. also, is there any way to get stocks, weather and youtube working? mainly youtube. Finally, does anyone know where i can get apps like iBeer and iMunchies? Thanks everyone for your ideas
