    Question Can't find the answer

If I buy a brand new (out of the box) iPhone with FW 1.1.1 and I downgrade to FW 1.0.2. Can I then succesfully unlock the phone with the IPSF software for any sim card? According to some IPSW reseller sites it should work, but can anyone confirm it does? Thanks.

NOTHING unlocks a 1.1.1 phone to be used to make and receive calls.

    What about these claims:

    http://freeit4less.itsyouriphone.com/?p=downgrade

    or

"IPHONES WITH THE NEW FIRMWARE VERSION 1.1.1 CAN STILL BE UNLOCKED USING THE IPHONESIMFREE IPHONE UNLOCKING SOLUTION ONCE YOU HAVE DOWNGRADED YOUR IPHONE FIRMWARE TO VERSION 1.0.2 USING THE TUTORIAL SUPPLIED HERE." (http://www.iphoneanywhere.ca/iPhoneS...ution-p-1.html)

    Plain lies?
