    Question Cannot locate bytes?

    hey everyone!
    i'm having a weird problem...
    i just tried to instal anySIM and after dumping the NOR was complete it said "cannot locate bytes to load" or something like that...
    does anyone have any idea why this would happen?

    it genrally means the phone had previous unlock attempts, the way to cure it is to virgin restore flashing the baseband manually with the .fls and .eep files. search the forum for a guide. then unlock again. if the unlock still doesn't work then you may have used up all your unlock attempts. The dev team is working on a new unlock that fixes this problem.

    and if you can;t wait for the dev team to solve the counter issue, you can purchase the paid ones. Some people have confirmed that the paid ones work. (personally, I would rather wait then paying those people)

    This solution has fixed no bytes to patch problem on several phones - just complete the process till the end even if you get that error and your iphone should work

    I didn't realize there was a counter is that a counter on the number of times the firmware can be flashed or......???

    yes they found it latelly ipsf software resets the counter and the dev team are working on a way to do the same. untill then you either pay ipsf or wait till the dev team come through
