Default cannot connect to your device msg appears, then it starts installing?!

Hi guys! Sorry it this was answered before, but I have a problem with jailbreaking to 1.1.2

I keep on getting the message : cannot connect to device from jailbreak, but after this msg, SOMEHOW, the installer in the command prompt starts uploading the files to (or maybe not? i am not sure) my iphone.
However at the end, it seems that the files were not uploaded and my iphone is not jailbroken
I tired installing the newest java, turned off my firewall...

    any other suggestions? thanks!

You need to close Itunes service and al other Apple running services before Jailbreak.
