first, it´s a great place here and i´m visit this page every day since i got my iPhone.

but now my question, i have a brand new german 1.2 iPhone with a regular sim.
allready regular activated and working.

the only thing i miss are the cool custom-applications.

can i "simply" downgrade via itunes (with 1.1.1 firmware) and use the cool
jailbreakme-tiff trick ???

i´m confused coz there so many diffrent informations and tutorials ...

If you think its a dumb question, maybe it is??? Im sure you can follow the same guides that the new UK phone that have 1.1.2 on can follow.. Do a search, im sure if you skim over the first 4 pages of threads, you will find your answer. Good luck.
