    Default Can i use my friend's at&t sim to activate my not activated iPhone ?

    if i have a friend who has AT&T why cant i just activate the phone with his sim card then have full function and just wait for the v1.1.2 OTB sim unlock
    would it work instead of going through jailbreaker or the *#3001# etc...

    you can, but if you want to unlock and use another sim, youll have to pay early termination fee...

    if you activate your iphone with his att card then u can only use ur iphone to make calls if his simcard is in...he probably doesnt want that.
    8 GB iPhone 1.1.4 unlocked T-mobile USA.
