Default Can i simply downgrade 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and unlock ?

Dears, I got a week 45 1.1.2 OTB version iphone, i read posts here, people are saying 1.1.2 cannot be unlocked. And mentioned about downgrading to 1.1.1, may i know that cani unlock (sim free) it by downgrading it to 1.1.1, it's ok for me to use 1.1.1 version. Thanks in advance~

The problem is the bootloader on the new (1.1.2 OTB) phones has changed.
The anySim etc unlocks are not compatible with this bootloader so the short answer is "Not at this time"

But may i ask, in fact, i don't quite get that people are talking about stuff like downgrading 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and then upgrading to 1.1.2, .......... is it only for jailbreaking and activating 1.1.2, instead of unlocking?

    Thanks

yes, this is only to jailbreak and activate... in that way atleast the device is usable (although as a web and media device, not a phone per se)...

and as the dev team is most likely to get a working unlock out then it is very likely that the unlock will sit in nicely with the current jailbreak/activation

I am worrying if this jailbreak and activation procedure (downgrade and upgrade) may affect the unlocking, whatever the way it comes out later.

The deal here is the NEW Bootloader...you have the new 4.6 bootloader. Anybody who had an older phone can upgrade or downgrade to any FW version...even to 1.1.2 and ACTIVATE & UNLOCK! I have a week 42...with 1.1.2 but thats because I UPGRADED it hence having the older bootloader (3.9) allowed me to do so...OTB 1.1.2 iphones won't let you do that since they are shipped with a new Bootloader and even if you try to downgrade to a lower fw...like 1.1.1 the new bootloader will stay there and NOT downgrade. The only thing you can do now is to wait....and wait...and wait until someone comes out with a solution!

mobman, you kinda missed what was asked...

I personally have got a OTB 1.1.2 iPhone and done the DEV teams jailbreak. because I do believe, that they probably will get a working unlock out. and when they do you can be quite certain that it works well with the current jailbreak solution.

How can I know my bootloader version? I bought it as a 1.1.1... but upgraded to 1.1.2 and it's now locked... I manage to jailbreak but the anysim doesn't work.

I keep reading people unlocking an "original 1.1.1" but using independence that is for Mac.
