Default Can I run anySim with original AT&T SIM card?

When running anySIM, it suggests to enter new SIM card. Is that necessary? Can I run anySIM with original ATT SIM card and later replace with another SIM card?

Is it really necessary to ask? AnySIM asks you to insert the "new" SIM card you want to use. Of course if you don't want to use a "new" one, you can also use your "old" one. :p

    Oh boy...

I've read walkthroughs that say to insert the SIM card that the phone will be used with before running anySIM. Just making sure that I can run anySIM with an unactivated ATT SIM card and then later put it another carrier's SIM card.

Why? When you're unlocking for someone who didn't provide their SIM card. Anyway, I ran anySIM with AT&T SIM card and everything worked well.

The authors of anySIM are excellent hackers, but perhaps not the best technical writers. I don't blame them.
