Can you logon before Jailbreak?

Short explanation:
I live in a place where I have to logg in to use the WIFI.
Meaning each time I start Safari, the first window I see is the Logon for the WIFI service.

Now my question is, if I perform the upgrade to 1.1.1 and want to open jailbreak, I will for sure be re-routed to this Logon page.
Can I use the keyboard to enter the information to log in and afterwards change the url to jailbreakme.com?

Has anybody tried this and knows if it works?

use Ibrickr to kick it outta recovery, then connect it to Itunes use slide for emergency, dial *#307# hit send, if it rings hit answer, hold, deny, if it dosent ring delete all numbers dial 0 then do the answer hold deny, it may take a few times, then you can use the wifi functions on the phone

Thanks, but I know these steps to activate the WiFi with prefs etc.
But my question is,

Is the Safari function fully available with keyboard to enter the logon info?
and can you enter the other web page?
