Can 1.1.2 Be Fully Unlocked via INdependence??
I'm buying an iPhone with knowledge that 1.1.1 is the only iPhone that can be software unlocked. I keep getting e-mails from sellers claiming that, since December 15th, 1.1.2 iPhones are able to be unlocked via INdependence - http://code.google.com/p/independence/
Is this true? I thought you need TURBOsim to unlock 1.1.2? Can you fully software unlock 1.1.2 for use as phone/apps/etc/ with INdependence? Please, few people clarify this for me. Don't know if sellers just want to rid themselves of the 1.1.2 or are being honest. Let me know.. thanks ><;
Kyle

This unlocking = jailbreaking thing is starting to become a snowball. It just gets newbies more and more confused. And then they end up here.
