Hey all

I have a total bricked iphone.. got it after the user accidently upgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 using itunes.

than i tried following up this tut to unlock it but ended up with a total bricked iphone. itunes wont let me do anything saying there is a problem with the unit. and even when trying to access the iphone with the *#307# it jams and i have to turn it off and on again.. the imei is totaly wrong ending with 064 0000.

any ideas or a tutorial to follow? perhaps some kind of a verginizer?

Have you tried restoring the phone? (aka Home Button + Power Button)

yeah just did.. ended up the same :|
i have a feeling the the BB is corrupt what do you think?

I've had to fix a few of these already.

follow the instructions to properly downgrade the phone to 1.1.1 (search, you'll find em), then go back to 1.0.2 with iBrickr and unlock/activate, then upload some stuff you'll need like terminal, openssh, bsd-subsystem, then downgrade the baseband to 03.14.08_G (search for this too and you'll find out how cuz you'll also need to upload some files into your /usr/bin folder; the secpack for 1.1.2, and the ICE.eep/.fls files for 03.14.08_G, bbupdater, and ieraser... now execute all that crap ), then anysim it and you're good to go... then update to 111 or 112 if you want.

I'd probably go with what skidmark suggested. Give it a try. If it still doesn't work, post again.

haha i will try to first dwngrade to 1.1.1 i hope i'll be successful coz up until now it looks that the iphone is a real break non works. non.
