Bricked 1.1.1 (original AnySim unlock) -from iTunes upgrade
Hi guys, I'm pretty certain this has been posted, but search results yielded little help.
An iPhone 1.1.1 OTB, unlocked using AnySim
Accidentally upgraded to 1.1.2 via iTunes, and now bricked.
Is this simply a matter of restore with "Shift + Restore" and choosing the 1.1.1 FW?
then TIFF jailbreak.
Or anything else involved?
(or if someone could kindly link to where this has been discussed as I'm sure it has)
Thanks!

The restore to 1.1.1 did in fact work for you eventhough it gives you the 1015 error. If your on a PC then simply run iBrickr and it will recover from the error, I believe iNdependence is what you should use for a MAC (not sure though i'm a PC user). That will then bring you back to the Activate screen. You will be left with the 1.1.2 Modem though so your phone wont be unlocked anymore. At this point you can just perform the downgrade, unlock using anysim 1.2.1u, then upgrade, OktoPrep and up to 1.1.2.

Hi,
I ran a search with "1015 1.1.2" and "1.1.1 to 1.1.2" but didn't find any related threads.
MacEllie says it's fine, CannibalKidd says it's permanently bricked??
Could someone please post link where this is discussed and how to activate/unlock it ...(I know I'm gonna get flamed for this)
