Default BREA MALL Apple Store iPhone BL/FW Check

If anyone has very recently purchased (within the last couple of days) an iPhone from Apple Store in Brea Mall, California, please post what firmware/BL you got on your phone. I want to get an iPhone now because of the new SW unlocks, but I want to make sure of the firmware/BL of the iPhones in the Brea Mall store. Thanks.

P.S. What are some good excuses for returning an iPhone that has been opened? In case something go AWOL on unlocking, I want to be able to return it after restoring it to factory settings. I already used the "friend did not like it as a present" excuse a few times already, don't want them to start catching on since I see the same employees each time I go.

There are no issues with returning it opened, it will just cost you $40. Also, all phones at the stores have 1.1.3 with 4.6. You will not find any old stock at the apple stores, only at AT&T stores.

    Why does it matter?

You can unlock any iphone now.

Buy all you can before the new BL comes out!

I ask because after reading lots of posts, it seems like people with 1.1.3 OTB are having more problems. If I get a 1.1.3 OTB, I want to make sure I will be able to use Youtube, google maps, and everything else that should work.

The only thing that will not work for you is the new google map features. Because "gunlock" uses baseband 04.02.13_G and that's what you get after the unlock. Google maps will still work but you don't get the new feature. For now, that's the only limitation.

Just to make sure, do you know if both iClarfieid and I.Unlock.no methods work flawlessly? Youtube, has signal, no other weird issues? Thanks.

many threads in this forum confirmed that both iClarified and I.unlock.no works perfectly (beside the google map that I mentioned earlier). Using either method & using "gunlock" you will have baseband 04.02.13_G at the end after the unlock.

As far as the no signal, N41 has the poll thread going, you may want to check that out.

The most important thing is to make sure you follow the instruction, do no miss any steps and it will certainly help if you understand it. It is nice to be able to anticipate what's gonna happen next.

I have my fair share of unlocks. I always read, read and make sure I agree with all the steps even if it's from a guide/tutorial

Organize your computer/folders. Make sure you have all the tools ready.
