Bought iphone 12.10.07 Can I downgrade?
I bought this phone on 12.10.2007 and have read and watch every tutorial available and thought I was ready for this. I have FW 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 saved to my PC (using XP) but can't get it to recognize my T-Mobile SIM after I've used iBrickr and iUnlock........... So my question is: "Can a new iphone (that probably had 1.1.2 preinstalled) be downgraded to 1.1.1 or even 1.0.2? I've read in a couple of places that if you started out with 1.1.2 "You're stuck".

If your phone came with 1.1.2 you cant unlock...
You can use as an iPod Touch, though...
Just search for iClaridied in the Forum and follow the tutorial...

You say it can't be unlocked but then you say to search for iclarified and follow tutorial. So are you saying there is a way to unlock this new phone and use it with T-Mobile or are all iphones sold today only usable with ATT? Mixed messages here....

READ the guide , do some search, your stuck....1.1.2 OOB CAN NOT be unlocked, just use as an Ipod touch, by the way you can downgrade the OS but you can't unlock ....
Note: this is our new "noob of the week"....lol
