I have seen a video of upgrading iphone with 3.9BL to 4.6 using Bootneuther on an iphone fan site. Can someone confirm this is possible? I have 1.1.4 3.9BL (1.1.2 OTB Week 51) :iphone: .

I also have a week a 51 phone and went from 3.9FB to 4.6 using Boot Neuter (installer source). Now i have 4.6 with 04.04 baseband and working just fine.

confirmed, don it myself you can upgrade from 3.9 stock or 3.9FB to 4.6.

very easy and fast.

What would be the advantage of tis upgrade?

Nothing really except for maybe for warranty return reasons

thanks for your comments, guys. I also upgraded my 1.1.4 3.9BL iphone to 4.6 yesterday and had no problems till now. Looks very stable. Everything is working fine.

Can you confirm that the procedure is the following:
1)install bootneuter from installer
2)on version hit 4.6 and flash

is that all?

Anyone know if bootneuter needs wifi on the iphone?

you need to have version 4.6

Neuter = On
Fake Blank = Off
Unlock = On
