I DOWNGRADED my bootloader with ziphone now i wanna downgrade the whole thing to 1.1.1 the baseband etc because i think 1.1.3 is a complete bullshit. DROPPED CALLS, low signal. I DOWNGRADED my bootloader to 3.9 so now i can just go back to 1.1.1
04.01.13 with correct modem firmware.
Guys i dont understand the people who dont wanna downgrade there bootloader to 3.9? 3.9 is better because you can fully verginize your baseband and you can downgrade your basebands and as soon as APPLE has a new firmware with a new baseband software you can unlock it with full IPSF style unlocking. AND as i said you can fully go downgrade to any firmware not just the OS but the main part the modem firmware (BASEBAND SOFTWARE) Which in 4.6 it wont allow you to. And also you don't need a secpack of a newer firmware you can use the current secpack on 3.9. But in 4.6 it only accepts secpack of a newer firmware to allow modifying the baseband.

current 4.6 vulnerability allows us to modify the baseband from 4.03 to 4.02 without having the secpack from 1.1.4, right? 8) so this argument is void now since we can d/g the bb on any version.
the answer is simple - 3.9 is better NOW, 4.6 will be better LATER when custom bl is ready and since 1.1.3 is crap anyway they are somewhat equal, everyone has a choice of having some bonus right now or a bit later. It's up to us. Because I am sure whan custom bl is out the solution to roll back to 4.6 will be found several days or weeks later.

Wait don't jump the gun the only reason you go to 04.02.13is because a bug in 04.02.13and 04.03.13. But imagine how tight security will be on 1.1.4 baseband software. And until the custom BL rolls out i dont see a single red penny having 4.6.
And also when your unlocking 1.1.3 its not true 1.1.3 it still has 1.1.2 modem firmware 4.02.13_G so thats why its very buggy with people who unlock it with BL 4.6. And this goes to future firmware. SO i say downgrade BL now before its to late.

GUYS the secpack trick dont work anymore with BL 4.6, that's why when 1.1.3came out it included a new baseband software so a new (SECPACK) but there still was no unlock for BL 4.6.

First, I've done quite a few "mixed" 1.1.3 (with 4.02.13_G BB) and aside from Google Locate, everything works fine.
Most of the problem people are reporting are due to improper actions while unlocking or jailbreaking, not to mention the amount of Apps that are still not compatible with 1.1.3 - specially the change of the SpringBoard "user" from root to mobile.
1.1.4 or later WILL NOT change the 4.6 x 3.9 BL controversy, so there is no "better now than fell sorry later", as the BL exploit is there no matter what Apple throws in the baseband. Right now the best approach is to wait and see and keep the option of having a custom BL, that will allow 4.03.13_G unlocked without having to downgrade to BL 3.9.

The profit on the hardware is insignificant next to how much Apple makes in kickback from the likes of AT+T, o2, T-Mobile and Orange.
a lot of the unlocked iphones are out of the US (I'm guessing the majority), so that's money they wouldn't have gotten from at+t kickbacks anyway. that 'only hw' profit they're getting is a lot when you consider the volume
