    so whats the difference... I think we need to do some research .... as I told you bbupdater just dont write the new boot4.6

    Iam reading the entire bbuptader

    let me see what I can find..
    Hi Car,

    You see, i dont think bbupdater is bootloader specific, i mean if it needs the bootloader to run, it wouldnt be able to delete it while reflashing it!! Zibri, the iPhone Elite Head, also thinks that bbupdater is not bootloader specific!!

    I searched google for the "Baseband is too old message" and i found a thread over on modmyifone where TWO SEPERATE guys both thad the same problem, In there General->About Section, they have no ICCD, no Baseband Firmware, No WiFi, nothing and when they try and reflash the baseband firmware they get the message that their bootloader is too old, update to version 1.8 or above.

    The exciting news about this is they still ahve COMPLETE access to the phone and can still SSH into it, i have replied to the thread and PM's both of the people involved to try and find out EXACTLY what they did to get to this situation!! They have obviously corrupted their Bootloader and we need to find out how, and will a reflash of the old bootloader fix their problems!!

    Heres the link to the thread on modmyifone - http://modmyifone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16314

    interesting, they says "restore to 1.0.2", new 1.1.2 baseband works with 1.0.2, so he was on 1.1.1.

    maybe he closed or crash itunes during the downgrade? So we're in a state where he starts to rewrite the basedand.

    pspsully I read your post at modmyifone! Great post! The suspense is killing me. I have a feeling we are getting close to something... Keep it up guys. I am currently (gently) attempting to corrupt the BL on a spare damaged iphone I have. We will see....

    The guy states he has no WIFI... That will make it hard to SSH. Maybe he can use iBrickr to transfer the file along with the Terminal PXL

    Let's hope...

    @pspsully please understand I have been trying my best to get my hands working with this issue, I have the idea that we have to do but How can we make it happen

    as geohotz once wrote on his blog,

    Quote Originally Posted by GeoHotz

    so we need to find the right addres in which the boot is checking the "CJKT"

    well let me know if you get in contact with George.

    I would like to talk to him,

    pspully, on that thread above, you might want to give them the exact filename to flash (in case they are noobs and have other *.fls files in that dir which they probably do since they have tried reflashing the baseband with the -f files).

    Also have them reload the commcenter at the end.

    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    cd /usr/bin
    chmod +x bbupdater
    bbupdater -l BOOT03.09_M3S2.fls
    launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

    options.c_oflag=options.c_oflag & 0xFFFFFFFE;
    options.c_cflag=(options.c_cflag | 0x3CB00) & 0xFFFFEFFF;
    options.c_lflag=options.c_lflag & 0xFFFFFA77;
