[BootLoader] 3.9_M3S2 or 4.6 Whats the Difference ?

What is the benifit of staying with the 4.6 bootloader and not downgrading with the Ziphone, I have been reading through a lot of threads but the actual question is side stepped all the time, does anyone actually know if downgrading to 3.9 will affect anything at all? are apple going to not support 3.9 in the future or something?

I have 3.9_M3S2 on 1.1.4 with 04.04.05_G Baseband and all works great even locate me.

Is all this gonna end with future apple updates, personally I cant see it but if anyone can actually answer the question Id really appreciate it.

its a big debate of warranty and what apple does during that time with the phone to see if they can issue you a new one. Also the benift of 4.6 is the abillity to switch in and of itself to either regular 3.9 or 3.9fb. There are many other things to consider but I will let the other guys post up that info since I am 3.9bl OTB

With 3.9 and 3.9FB you can run the latest basebands unlocked. Full range checking in anything after 4.02 means they won't run unlocked.

3.9 also offers the IPSF (and geoIPSF) RSA token hack which means all future basebands do not need to be anySIM-style unlocked to work.

There is a warranty issue, as mentioned above, but with a reversal path, I think BL3.9FB is a good bet.

I am on 3.9FB.

i think the only issue we have when we are downgrading our 4.6 to 3.9, is if someday apple will check our IMEI/SERIAL and our bootloader, because if your iphone is up to 45week, you must to have 4.6BL not 3.9BL, so maybe they can block you to use his updates or even brick your iphone

thanks for your help guys, its much appreciated, I was initially concerned that it might affect the 2.0 and sdk side of things when released if apple could some how check your version

hi law.. i have 3.9_m3s2 bootloader...with 04.04.05_g modem firmware...issu is my iphone get very very hot after sometime...dosent matter what i am doing...please help me...thanks...
