There we go.Hopefully,I explain my situation clearly.
I got this iphone from one of my friend. He said he couldn't work it out and I thought I could (how foolish). So the problem is, there is no IMEI,no ICCID and no WIFI. And I keep of getting, the "Repair needed-cannot make or receive calls" message.Iphone was on 2.0.2 firware.
Following are "Solutions tried" and the "Result obtained"
Solutions tried 1:-
I tried to restore/downgrade to 1.1.4
Result obtained for 1:-
The restoring process got stuck at the message "Restoring firware". So, I just pulled the usb plug after 40min.Now I am stuck with "Itunes-usb arrow" logo.

Solutions tried:-
Whenever I try to restore/downgrade to any (I have tried 1.1.4,1.1.3,1.0.2) i either have one of the following things:-
-> Itunes get stuck at "Restoring Firmware". It takes ages with NO sucess
-> Sometimes, the restoring/downgrading process ends up quickly with an error message "20"

Solutions tried 3:-
I tried the process in
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/show...ghlight=anysim too but,
in Phase 1 Step 4, the App Installer gets stuck with message "Execute: iphonecomme.exe" and in cmd it gets stuck with message "entering recovery mode". So, I just pulled it and tried going further but to no success.

Solutions tried 5:-
Tried using winpwn
Result obtained for 5:-
Same as 1

Solutions tried 6:-
Tried using Kiphone

Some useful information for you guys about my situation
->I am using windows XP
->Itunes 7.5
->Iphone 4gb (helpful?)
->While using iLiberty when I ticked it to downgrade the bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9FakeBlank, it said somewhere that the bootloader version is 3.9_M3S2.
->Currently, I am in 1.1.4 firmware with no/very less SIGNAL, no IMEI, no ICCID no modem firware with no/low signal.

Please HELP ME!!! I have spend 3 days(NOT BULLSHITTING)and still can't find answer. Please help!!!

NOTE:- When helping,kindly give instructions by keeping in mind that the reader (i.e., me) know very less than you. So, please be very clear.No offence!

so let me get this rite...you have no imei no or iccd no ...but you do have a signal?????? that means you CAN make or receive calls for this iphone....???

This problem aper when you don't have baseband or is corupted.
When you are stock in "restore firmware" when you downgrade just kill itunes proces and
reboot you device kiping the power and home butons at sometimes.after that use winpwn ore another tools to make a custom firmware powen the device and install the custom firmware.

I tried all methods findet on the net swifi,virginize,erase baseband with Kiphone,with ziphone,downgrade to 1.02,1.1.1,to 1.1.4 etc(delete erase forever)I have 2 mounth spendet and 230 times instaled software.
When i run ./bbupdater -v all is fine validate me is the 4.04.05_G baseband.and cheksum is ok.

Finaly i rezolved the probleme but is temporaly and when i close
the iphone troble reapear.
-I downgradet to 1.1.4.
-I make a custom firmaware with winpwn.
-this firmware..i set only activate my iphone.
-in the firmware i instaled(Cidya,VT100 Terminal and BootNeuter)
-I powned and i instaled my custom firmware.
-With BootNewter i maket fakeblank.
-I make a folder named "fix" what containe a combination [ienew and 4.04.05_G secpack],bbupdater,eep and fls file and swifi.
-Transfered to divice with diskaid 2.0.
-I deleted my baseband with ienew and i rewrited with bbupdater.
-After i run swifi.
-I make a "Reset all setings"
==Note(in 4.6 bootloader-in 3.9 bootloader nothig hapen,and when i reset network setings nothing hapen).
-After reboot all come back "sound,WIFI,network,bluetooth and repaire my IMEI
The problem is after restart i most run swifi all times to get this.Wen i tried to update stuck in "Restore iphone firmwer"
I forget:i repaired my wifi and bt mac with ibooter befor all.
You can make like my but the troble are how i makeit stable.
And i have the error "Invalid calibartion data on device tree"..this is a software troble.

Sounds like your baseband is corrupt.

Since you're on 1.1.4, use ZiPhone's and perform Erase Baseband.

Put the phone into DFU mode

Restore via iTunes

iTunes should reload your baseband, see if this corrects the issue.

We were talking about this like 6 months ago. This happens due to a corrupted Bootloader and/or baseband, if your baseband is corrupted you can easily fix it using BootNeuter, but if BootNeuter fails for you, I'm sorry, you got a corrupted Bootloader, based on investigation, you get this when the seczone gets filled with 0X00 or OXFF, so it won't get flashed again.
This is also related to a Invalid Calibration Data error when booting in verbose mode.
Try restoring to 1.1.4, if you get error 1011, you're on the same boat.
I'm sorry to say that up to now, there is no working solution for corrupted bootloaders, I will try to look for something that will get the iPhones working again.

i think changing the commboard is the last solution ...that 's what i did....

I restored to 2.0,2.01,2.1,2.2.
In this firmware all is ok signal,imei,bt,wifi...but i don't have sound.
Probable is Bootloader.

scuse me, with original fw 2.2 you get imei bt wifi? wich itunes have you used? and the flash finished without errors?

i am also experiencing the same problem. are u able to turn on your phone by pressing the power button? or.... do you need to plug it into a power supply for it to turn on? please respond because i want to see if we are experiencing the same exact problem.

I was in your shoes.. BootNeuter killed my phone after incorrect flash it just hung up, I tried all the old school methods but none worked, I was trying 2 weeks. Most likely the Baseband is corrupt and you would need new CommBoard. I just restored to 1.1.4 FW and had warranty on the phone and had it taken care off with new phone
