I think that they are saying that if you have a jailbroken 1.1.3 phone you are ready to rock. Currently, to my knowledge, there is no way of jailbrkn a 1.1.3 otb phone without downgrading.

In other words, you don't have to downgrade to run the unlock.

did you follow the method I linked to on jailbreaking 1.1.3. If not, that may be related to the issue you are having.

what's better to upgrade?
1. iclarified soft update then syncfix from iclarified. OR
2. official devupdate 1.1.3-3
3. do i have to uninstall all apps and then reinstall them when in 1.1.3 to prevent issues?

i just did it using iclarified and when i put a sim in the phone it just has the signal bars with no signal...can someone please help me??

It doesnt work AT ALL for me :S
it just reboots and there you go... still locked!

mashedbymachines, does it say Locked SIM? if it does that means you have a SIM PIN on it and it is unlocked =]

miguel, nope, still waiting, check the iclarifieds comments

and dive in the upgrade.
eventhough i haven't find and exact response. everyone says it should and will work. about the issues and sync problems, the 1.1.3-3 dev fixes them.
