once the ultrasim is not in the phone and a AT&T, a local SIM, any other sim card is in the phone, i get "incorrect sim" error

no matter what the phone has bad IMEI, but has full phone signal/service once it has the ultra sim in there... works perfect.

i think hte ultra/stealth sims have a good ime programed into them maybe or atleast bypass/trick the check for the imei.

Hi. I have the exact same issue. On every baseband other than 04.03.13_G I have 0049 IMEI issue. Are you saying that I can use a stealth sim on a bad imei and it will still work? Full service and no issues with anything? If so where can I buy one?

Why would you do the testpoint trick if you are already on 3.9 BL?

i had same or similar issue :

0049 after bad hw unlock 1.1.2 ootb testpoint.

try reflash BL from 1.1.1 and take nor39.rar from first page of sticky thread HW unlock and replace it in /var/bin and i got IMEI and ICCID back.

Ah yes maybe will help or not: i kept all time original sim at&t in phone until i finshed reflashing BL (some fields taken from sim like iccid helps? dono )

[I upgraded to the 1.1.3 via ITunes because I was under the impression that I being an ATT coustomer could have a jailbroken IPhone with the 1.1.3 modem firmwear, anyhow here is what I did to downgrade my modem firmweare. First I did a DFU downgrade to 1.1.1 hold home and power then I did a normal restore shift click restore to 1.1.1 then use ibricker or other booter to boot the phone then jailbreak hackthatphone.com has a great toutoral then I ran the steps from hackthatphone.com to downgrade the baseband (modem firmwear) then my phone wouldn't boot at all wouldn,t restore or nothing. I then read to remove the simcard and do a DFU restore to 1.1.1 I did that and worked fine downgraded my baseband and just continued to 1.1.2 which is where I am now waiting to see if there will be a jailbreak for 1.1.3 that gives full functionalty. I hope this helps you I know how upsetting it is when your phone is messed up. Regards W
