i have a 1.1.1 (3a109a) iphone with the firmware 03.14.08g
but i cant restore it at all

iv have the phone activated and unlocked with anysim

how do i restore it please?

when i go to itunes to restore i get a error message saying

" The Ipod "Ipod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4). "

In which FW version was it unlocked before?
I mean when you where still able to make phone calls?

What iTunes number are you using? Suggest you do not use 7.5.

iv been trying 7.4

is my best way to fix this
is to downgrade it to 1.0.2 and activated and unlock it and then upgrade it to 1.1.1 then unlock it ??

i just thinking can that firmware (03.14.08g) be right when its running a 1.1.1

at the mo its is just a ipod really
cant make phone calls or anything

at the mo i have downgraded it to 1.0.2 and now trying ot activate it

and now have to activate the iphone

if I were you I would use this tutorial but you have to virginize your iPhone first before you upgrade to 1.1.1
