bbupdater for the anysim bytes to pach error
I tried the anysim unlock and got the failure to locate bytes to pach and this is probably because I jail broke it and used it on an cingular prepaid earlier. Now Im trying to find bbupdater but I cant find it anywhere and I have searched this forum for a link but most are inactive.
Thank you

Did you do a virgin restore before attempting to unlock? This is a common error for some people.
Try this method, it tells you how to do a virgin restore at the beginning: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/...ySIMunlock.zip

Yeah that link I posted before will be useless for you as it is a Windows guide.
A virgin restore is different to a normal restore. I am unsure how to do it on a Mac atm. Could someone fill us in?

If you have a PC then that download will be valid for you, and I recommend using it.
Here it is again: http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/...ySIMunlock.zip
Anyhow, Here's is how to do a 'Virgin' restore on a PC:
-Reboot your computer
-Open up iTunes
-Press 'Control' 'Alt' 'Delete' keys together to open task manager
-Go to processes and end the process named 'iTuneshelper.exe'
-Completely turn off iPhone (Hold 'On/Off' button then Slide)
-Lay iPhone flat on desk and hold the HOME button down, and then plug in the USB cable to the bottom of the iPhone.
-Keep holding HOME button down until iTunes recognises the iPhone and it appears in the 'Devices' list.
-Click restore in iTunes
