I had the patch problem. Restoring the firmware through iTunes doesn't reflash the baseband firmware if you already has firmware 1.0.2 installed.

Running the following fixed the problem for me:

launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
./bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

You need to get the 3.14 baseband firmware (the fls and eep file). You can find them here:

Yes use putty.

Sorry, forgot to add, you need to install SSH onto your phone. I'm on a Mac and have been using iNdependence so I'm not too familiar with the Windows utilities. You should be able to install SSH using iBrickr by installing the dropbear PXL.

Once you install SSH, download Winscp and copy over the *.fls and *.eep flles to your phone.

Once the files are copied over, SSH to your phone using putty and follow the instructions I gave you above.

Cause i only knew, that we need to copy ssh, bbupdater *.fls and *.eep.

You can't copy files to the phone using SSH. SSH just gives you a remote shell. You can use winscp to copy the files over to the phone.

Oh, ok. So with ssh i can modify, and stuff, but cant copy files over the phone.
So winscp is a windows app?and with it, ill combine it with ssh, and then i can copy the files?
or to just copy i dont need ssh, just winscp?
