bbupdater alternative to fix empty/corrupted baseband (1011/1012/1002) ??
We all know that errors such as:
- Repair needed...
- Unknown ICCID, Unknown IMEI
- No Wifi/No Service/No Sound
- Unknown error (1011/1012/1002) in iTunes
Are very trivial to be fix. And without sound, i cannot even use my bricked iphone as an ipod touch!
My google adventure resulted empty hands, even some posts on some sites saying that it is possible that it is a hardware problem (commboard), until I stumbled across this site that claim able to fix it using their special reflash software which is different that ieraser/bbupdater.
http://www.unlockediphones.de/module...q.php?faqid=26
From the site:
IMEI: Error message 1011 or 1012 Unknown ICCID: Unknown, Repair Needed (iPhone cannot make or receive calls), no audio (except headset), no WIFI i.e. corrupt baseband or baseband flash is in a limbo state and cannot communicate with ieraser or bbupdater, then the following solution MAY resolve your issue.
This application only reflashes your Baseband (like what iTunes does) so it does not alter/modify or do anything that iTunes wouldnt have done. Its uses are only for people with Baseband issues. It is not affiliated with our service but its use helps to provide you with a baseband fix.
Unfortunately the software is only for their customers, (or you need to become as their customer).
Does anyone have any information about this? or similar software?
and is it true that the software can reflash in a better method (ie. forced reflash) than bbupdater?
