I'm winscp and ssh'ing to my phone now and openssh is not installed. Why would I give false information like that.
And services.app does not even show the SSH option

Its seems better but it too soon to tell. It doesn't install openssh or dropbear. It does install an old installer.app. BTW its so easy to use. It does everything for you. All you need to do is setup the safari exploit and it does the rest. You do need to restart your phone 4 times and thats all. I love it.

don't think so. you don't turn off port. you kill the the daemon.
I look at the /Applications/Services.app
the compiled binary Services is there. I have no idea what it does without looking at the source.

How long does the battery ideally last?
I listened to music for about 1.5 hours, used text messaging pretty much the whole day, and watched youtube videos for about 10 minutes. The battery lasted from 6AM-9PM and is now running at 20% battery life. Is this normal? I have FW 1.1.1, wasn't unlocked by me so i'm not too sure if openssh is off, or how to tell if it's even still on my phone... can someone enlighten me? sorry for hijacking the thread.

Do you have the installer program installed on the springboard? If so, run it and go to uninstall and see if its there. If it is then install services and turn off openssh. If installer is not there then use ibrickr or something to get installer on your phone(read around the forum). I don't think thats normal for your usage. I can use to go much longer.

It's not on the springboard, and from reading the forum, i thought ibrickr did not work with 1.1.1 as of yet.
