Backup Tool coming soon on ziPhone ...

Since many iPhone user now need to upgrade from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 they need to backup their addressbook,bookmarks, Maps notes etc... Zibri has said to setup the iPhone as New on iTunes when ZiPhone is used, so that we don't end with problems. Shortly Zibri would add this backup tool called time capsule on ziphone.

TimeCapsule is a 3rd party application for iPhone and iPod Touch. It can keep multiple states of a particular program by saving its preferences/settings/databases. These states are restorable. Currently, the TimeCapsule only supports backup/restore of the following apps:

* AddressBook’s contacts
* Call History
* Calendar
* Installer’s sources (restore may not work due to permission problem in some firmwares, refer to FAQs for solution)
* Map’s bookmarks & history
* Map’s caches
* Notes
* Safari’s bookmarks & history
* SMS
* Transit’s Preferences
* Stocks
* VoiceMail
* Weather
* WorldClock

I'm curious if he is able to copy the files into same format with his frontend or if he will act like a script kiddy and is just adding the Timecapsule app directory to the iPhone's filesystem and is calling it ZiPhone "Plus"

I guess it's nice that Zibri is adding this into ZiPhone for the next release, personaly though I shall stick with the methods that I currently use. I lost faith in ZiPhone after people who needed unlocks got forced to downgrade, and therefore theoretically voiding warranty. However, please don't take this as a bash, I used the early versions of ZiPhone for breaking out of jail and was only dissappointed once. Glad to see that he/she is moving ever forward with integration of new developers' tools.
