Since I don't live in Usa, i have this question...

May I activate (let's say for 15 minutes) an ATT SIM card (with data & voice plan and already activated with a Motorola phone) with an iPhone?

Can I destroy the ATT SIM data plan? Shall I pay a penalty for this? Is this allowed?

There will be a $175 fee for cancelling the contract, again even for activating I think you would need a us address, a social security and I guess a us credit card will only work.

...in fact the ATT SIM belong to a guy who's is working and living in Usa and has a social security, us credit card...

My problem is how to show the iPhone malfunction with a temporary activation;
the activation is still ATT with full data & voice.

I want to avoid any problem to my friend there...
