AppSnapp + AnySim worked like a charm but .....ITUNES :(
Hi all,
I am doing the happy dance!! I bought an Iphone finally! Anyways, the reason for this post:
I used Jailbreakme and AnySIM yesterday to jailbreak and unlock my phone. Everything works well (youtube and itunes store), but when I connected the phone to my PB this morning (first time to the computer) ...nothing happened!!! Itunes did not fire up!! I tried this from diff usb ports and still nothing happened. When I open Itunes manually, still nothing happens!
I double checked to make sure I have the latest version of itunes (7.4.2) which I do. I should mention that I had previously downloaded Independence and force quit 'itunes helper' thinking that I would use this method. But when I saw how easy kjailbreakme was, I changed my mind. Now in activity monitor, I can't find ituneshelper when I open up itunes. Does this need to be there??
I would really like to sync up contacts and put some music on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance guys!

hey bezman, thanks for the tip. But this did not work. Any other ideas? I don't see the Itunes helper icon (process) in the activity moniter anymore ... only the Itunes symbol. I have a feeling that this might be the problem.
Any thoughts anybody??

You need that Ituneshelper.exe to appear in the activity monitor in order to recognize your iphone. the only thing you can do is either reboot your computer or reinstalled your itunes.
edit: i forgot...you have a mac. i know that in windows, you need that ituneshelper.exe to recognize the iphone.
