yea i had a friend come down from the US and he didnt know abt unlocking the iphone at all when i asked him y didnt he get an iphone for himself. he thought he wud had to be with AT&T for 2 years. i then didnt even bother telling him abt the possibilities with the iphone.
some people just dont know other options to things like unlocking, warez software etc and actually pay for the damn things..

In fact, believe it or not, there are people who don't even know you can run apps on your iPhone. Imagine that. :p

TBH i dont think Apple cares as much as it seems about hacking there device sure they make a bit more when you tie a contract with att etc, but dont forget each iphone sold they make good profits from it.
BTW if Apple wanted to really lock there device i am pretty sure they would pulled the tightest, un hackable security possible...........so they really dont mind as much as it seems about hacking the iphone.
LOL it would of been like the new GEn of smart cards which came out 4 years ago and they the hackers still havent found a single loop hole to open up the card for free service yet LOL
