Default AnySim Unlocked 1.1.1 ... How do I upgrade?

    Hi all,

So as the title says, I have an AnySim unlocked iPhone with 1.1.1 firmware.

    Phone History:
1.0.2 When new. Unlocked using anysim from dev team.
    Upgraded to 1.1.1
    Downgraded to 1.0.2
Fixed baseband and imei number issue.
    Prepped to upgrade using independence.
    Upgraded to 1.1.1
    unlocked using new anysim.

What's the next step for my iPhone?

Read a few posts, but nothing I've found with help if unlocked.

    Thanks in advance.

yeah i have the same concern, how do i upgrade an unlocked 1.1.1 to 1.1.2?

i have seen like 10 diff writeups on all these forums, but im still confused if i have to upgrade to 1.1.2, then downgrade twice to 1.0.2 and the whole nine yards

cant i just oktoprep it and update to 1.1.2?

    THANKS!!!!!

You will have a locked phone if you do not downgrade since the new modem firmware will relock it.
This is how i did it....
1)Click shift/option restore(I used check for update) and selected 1.1.1.You will get
a 1015 error which is OK because the modem firmware stays @ 1.1.2 which is why you do the downgrade
2)Use iBrickr or Independence to kick it out of DFU the do same procedure again to go to 1.0.2.
**Remember 1.1.1 is incompatible with phone so you wont gete signal!!!
3)Kick it out of DFU again and jailbreak using any method you want
    4) Install Community services, Open SSH and BSD thru installer.app
5)Download anySIM 1.2u and place in:
/Applications/anySIM.app(type directory name exactly) giving 0755 permissions
6)Set autolock to never and run to unlock
7)Shift/Opt upgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak with jailbreakme, install BSD,SSH and Community Sources also manuallly add i.unlock.no
    8)Install Oktoprep from Tweaks
9)Shift/Upgrade to 1.1.2... no errors this time and signal will come back
10)Run 1.1.2 jaibreak and your done
