Default anySIM unlock succesfull, o2 PAYG works but UKo2 Contract sim message "locked sim"

Did anySim, worked well with succesfull unlocked message.

Now UKo2 PAYG / prepaid sim works well but UKo2 contract sim gives the following message: "locked sim"

Orange UK PAYG / prepaid sim works aswell

Borrowed from a traveller on the airport a Vodafone NL contract sim with the same "locked sim" message.

Looks like PAYG sims are working but contract sims not ?

Did about 5 times a Virgin restore of the phone including bbupdater, all ending up with the same problem.

anyone an idea / same problem?

if your phone (iPhone or any other) says "SIM Locked", it only means the SIM PIN is ON, so either you give in your SIM PIN to unlock your SIM (not your iPhone!), or :
put your SIM in another phone and disable the SIM PIN lock

sometimes, it takes a little of logical thinking and correct reading ...

How would I disable the SIM PIN?

    Thanks,.
