I installed anysim yesterday on my iphone and it works. Today, i decided to update to 1.1.3 using the JB method but after I installed the software through the installer app it ask me to restore my iphone. So, I'm like great, i'm not going to mess with it any more. I restored my iphone to 1.1.1 and jailbreak it again.

After that I tried to install anysim again to use other carrier and now I'm stuck.

After anysim copy the firmware to my iphone it pops out a note said anysim cannot install to this iphone pls restart ur iphone after anysim quit.


Everything is done and prepared. the phone is activated, jailbroken, 1.1.1 firmware.

I start anySIM on the phone. The program goes through all the stpes it needs to then it displays the following message:

Please Restart your Phone
anySIM cannot unlock this phone. anySIM will now quit. Please turn off your phone and turn it on again after anySIM quits.


as the phone is shutting down i noticed it takes longer to shut down fully.


Please tell me what's wrong with it. Did I mess up with the seczone? How am I going to fix it?

it happened to me too
I finally realized that it was because I installed anysim from the install, and somehow it didnt have the permission to write certain things.

so i tried to do it with SSH and set permission to 0755. it works perfectly.

It could also be because.. you ran anySIM before and unlocked your phone... so no need to run again.. even though you did restore/update... so just restart your phone you should be able to get the signal back for the new SIM card..
Thats what I figured when I was going through restore/update etc.
If you really want to run anySIM successfully then probably you've to re-virginize the phone.. not very sure about this.. but may be you can search n confirm.

I've tried to restart my phone..it didn't work with my non ATT sim card..

I've been searching through the forum, it seems like re-virginize my iphone is the best way to re-run anysim but I'm not 100% sure...

Can any experts on the forum confirm this? a link for re-virinize the iphone for my case would be helpful!!

does your imei starts with 0049xxx? if yes is a HUGE problem

restore to 113, restore back to 111, jailbreak it, imei is back, nate's jailbreak to 113, wait for anysim1.3 to unlock your brand new baseband (only works with BL 3.9)
