I tried on two iPhones. One with Bootloader 3.9, originally 1.0.2, now 1.1.2 unlocked with AnySim 1.2u. Got this on the 3.9 phone-

Another phone I tried with is a week 46 otb 1.1.2 phone being used with x-sim. I got the following output in that.

found some info at George's BLOG (http://george.zjlotto.com/index.php/...-lock-state/):
AT+XSIMSTATE=1
Compare the result with the following:
+XSIM: SS
+XLOCK: "PN",X1,X2,"PU",X1,X2,"PP",X1,X2,"PC",X1,X2,"P S",X 1,X2
(note: on iphone the only lock present is the PN lock)
SS:
0=No SIM Inserted
2=SIM Ready
6=SIM Busy
X1:
0=Unlockable(i assume without attempt counter)
1=Unlockable
2=Signature check failed
3=Attempt Limit Reached
4=Unlocked and Lockable
5=Unlocked
X2:
0=SIM Valid
1=Unknown(this gets set for PN when unlock is attempted)
4=SIM Not Valid
These values weren't found in any manual, and were all determined either empirically or by reversing the firmware.
----------------------------
this i found in a WAVECOM Wismo GSM manual:
"PN": Network lock with a 8 digits password (NCK)
"PU": Network subnet lock with a 8 digits password (NSCK)
"PP": Service provider lock with a 8 digits password (SPCK)
"PC": Corporate lock with a 8 digits password (CCK)
"PS": SIM lock facility with a 8 digits password.
----------------------------
In my case i fucked up my network lock with some wrong at-commands... I work day in day out with modems, mostly Wavecom GSM/GPRS, but this i've never seen, nice bootloader![]()
B
Does this result 1 in the pn mean the nck is not touched by anysim 1.2u.
Does it mean it doesn't waste unlock attempts?
1 means it's unlockable.
Can anyone from the dev team please confirm this is extremely important![]()
1 does infact mean unlockable and none of the anysim programs have used unlock attempts. only the old school iUnlock that was the initial solution uses unlock attempts.
also someone correct me if i am wrong here, but the virginazation process for people who used iUnlock on 1.0.2 =< will reset the counter back to 0.
Tried again after realizing I ran the commands on iPhones w/o SIMs installed.
1.0.2 OTB upgraded to 1.1.2 and unlocked
+XSIM: 2
+XLOCK: "PN",1,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0
1.1.2 OTB untouched baseband
+XSIM: 2
+XLOCK: "PN",1,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0
As you can see they are identical, so if you're getting something different???
I just bought an unlocked OTB 1.0.2 iPhone which is upgraded to 1.1.2, my resultas are:

Does that mean the iPhone is permanently unlocked?
Output:
That's on an OTB 1.02 iPhone, upgraded to 1.1.1 using AnySim 1.1 then upgraded to 1.1.2 using AnySim 1.2.1u.
