Hey I read somewhere not to run anysim 1.2 on V 1.1.2 But I tried swapping another sim and it said no service. I tried putting a sim that was already unlocked from Anysim 1.2 and that worked.

Do you'll guys have any idea of this?? I want to run a new sim and Im jus hoping I dont have to go back to 1.0.2 and unlock it from there.

you have to install anysim 1.2 on a jailbroken 1.1.1 and upgrade to 1.1.2 you can't directly unlock 1.1.2

you CAN UNLOCK it on 1.1.2 using 1.2u

So currently Im sitting on 1.1.2. unlocked with my old sim. Which means Il have to go back to 1.1.1 use independence to install 1.2 Anysim and then update to 1.1.2 jailbreak and stuff to unlock my new sim??

Wont anysim 1.2 get wiped off after the update ? Is there anyway to get 1.2 anysim on 1.1.2 directly ??

Have you tried it? I ran anysim 1.2.1u and Its Bricked !! Im stuck with the apple sign on the screen for 20 mins. Does anyone know what to do ?

Run the latest iNdependence or iBrickr (depending on if you're Mac or Windows) to kick it out of that mode. Or run iphuc and do "cmd setenv auto-boot true" "cmd saveenv" "cmd fsboot". And don't panic, your iPhone is not a brick.

Independence doesnt kick out 1.1.2 versions. Thanks your help though. I restored it to 1.1.1 and upgraded works fine now. I wonder if people actually downgrade and upgrade to run a new sim.

Sorry if this question has been asked before (I did try a search)...

If you jailbreak and then activate a 1.1.2 OOTB US iPhone will it work in the UK with an O2 simcard? I appreciate that you cannot unlock the 1.1.2 yet but as O2 is the UK provider will it work? If yes are there any problems?
