HEy guys sorry for my noobyness but Im upgrading a 1.1.1 OTB to a 1.1.2 fw

I am on the step where I downgraded to 1.0.2 and now need to install AnySim 1.2.1u and have the files downloaded onto my PC (windows) but how do I get to install it on my iphone? Its not a PXL file so I cant do it via Ibrickr any suggestions? SSH? But how? and where do I uploaded to?? What directory? Thanks again guys!!

So i have the basic same question, the answer i jsut got from my thread was:

EASIEST WAY TO RUN ANYSIM1.2U (MAKE EXEC):
1) On 1.1.1 add the old anysim (1.1) using installer
2) SSH into your phone to /Applications
3) Copy and overwrite all the files in the AnySim1.2U to /Applications/anySIM/
4) Run AnySIM from the Icon, and it will be anysim1.2U and will work!

Except dont SSH use ibrikr, install the ibrikr 1.02 anysim, then overwrite with the 1.2.u files and it will run.

I tried SSHing through WInSCP and typed User: Root, Pass: Alpine and upon trying to connect it says "Access denyed" and its asking me for a password, what am I doing wrong??

I wouldn't know as i did it all through ibrikr as i have no wireless, hence the method i posted.

how did you make it an executable?? Did u go to the AnySIm 1.2.1u folder and changed the application itself to .app or did you change the entire folder name to anysim 1.2.1u.app??? thanks!

To make it executable jsut install a lower anySIM version

Then open ibrickr and go to applications/anySIM

Upload all the files from the folder anySIM1.2u u have downloaded

Make sure you rename the anysim in the 1.2u folder to anySIM

reset iPhone

Run aysim and it will now be anysim 1.2u

Did you open up your wireless connection? Make sure you can access your wireless connection without a password, while trying to connect to your phone via SSH.

Hmmm..

anySIM has done something to my phone lol, but i cant tell quite what.

After installing 1.2u over 1.02, the app finally runs, and the phone dosent ask for the right simcard anymore, but there is no 02 symbol in the top corner, and i either get no service or the 1st bar of signal is like a tiny tiny bit up?
