I followed this:

Then simply restore back to 1.1.1, jailbreakme, ok2prep, upgrade to 1.1.2, jailbreak again using the 1.1.2-jailbreak, and then install "modmyifone.com/installer.xml" into your sources, and grab AnySIM 1.2.1u in installer, unlock, and you're free.

However after running anysim the phone is stuck at apple logo screen and reboots once in a while. Been doing this for 1hr now. Whats happening?

Nobody can help without knowing what bootloader or FW the phone was OTB!

YOU CAN'T UNLOCK AN OUT OF BOX 1.1.2 IPHONE SINCE THE BOOTLOADER IS DIFFERENT !!!!!!!!!

THE MOST YOU CAN DO WITH A 1.1.2 IS BYPASS ACTIVATION AND PUT IN A SIM WITH THE CURRENT CARRIER BY PATCHING THE LOCKDOWN FILE

Do it again... This way:

Restore 1.1.1, jailbreakme, ok2prep and run anysim then upgrade to 1.1.2

i thought he said he had out of box 1.1.2

i still think he does but if he doesn't then i apologize

I have 1.1.1 OTB america release using in uk. Serial No 39.

I need to unlock on either 1.1 or 1.1.2. I was pointed in the method above. But as said its stuck on the anysim stage. Whats the best method?

Restore to 1.1.2
Restore to 1.1.1
Jailbreakme.com
Ok2Prep
Upgrade to 1.1.2
Jailbreak with jailbreak.jar
Install anysim 1.2u
Turn on Airplane mode
Change Auto Lock to Never
Run Anysim
Done.

Turn Airplane mode on.... I know this from experience haha.

Now it gets stuck on 'starting the CommCenter' using anysim 1.2.1u after the method above! AAARGH! please help!
