Default Anyone working on unlock solution for 1.1.2 OTB?

    Hi,

After reading the last few pages, different Google Wikis and news sites like tuaw.com, I wonder if anyone is still working actively on a 1.1.2 unlock solution like they did for 1.0.2 or 1.1.1?
I know, the devteam is working on it..but I have the feeling that they are not as much interested/active like before (e.g. the iphone devteam wiki doesn't get really updated, no progress-news on the forums etc.).

I don't want to hassle anyone...

    Cheers

I too have been eagerly scouring the forums since 9th November, the progress of the original unlock was fairly quick but a part solution has already been developed and that was pretty much done on the day of the UK release.

I suspect that v.1.1.2 isn't as pressing as the original (USA vs USSR style space race-esk) race to unlock the iphone, however, I also suspect that the ones that do continue to work on the project probably don't have enough time in the day as it is, so to post an update every time they add a semicolon to the code would be taking them away from the thing we all want, an unlock solution.

I'm sure when it is finally done it will be all over the net like a bad porno staring ms Hilton and I'm sure when it does land we will all be all over it with equal zealous.

    patience is a virtue.

is there a way to downgrade bootloader so it would work with newer iphones as well. Apple is shipping now only version 1.1.2 and bootl. 4.6.

You should search for these questions first, this particular question has been covered quite a few times.
