I unlocked 1.0.2 with ibrickr, pacay, anysim, and youtube sort of works except for searches over the EDGE network. Did I miss something? I am on the 5.99 plan with proxy hack. i've unlocked 7 iphones now and all have the same problem. Any help appreciated!

where did you find the proxy hack for the 5.99 plan? is there a tutorial for it?

mine works fine on the total Internet plan.

mines working fine, more than reasonable speed. i think it kills my battery though, maybe my email checking all the time. search tmobile edge settings in the search forum. you may need to set your iphone up using hacktheiphone.com's instructions to get scp working.

After unlock, my iPhone wouldn't YouTube with T-Mo. All I did was download the Paycay utility which can be found at http://**********.com/files/56253716/PACAY.rar.html to unlock the
YouTube functionality.

It's extremely simple, extract the rar to a folder, and after the phone has been Jailbroken (Jailbreaked?), run the Paycay batch file and reboot. It takes about 30 seconds to run.

well i've done that, i even ran the pacay file without my sim card in my iPHone, i've replaced the 3 files gazillions of times. i have an unlocked t-mobile sim with the 5.99 plan. my edge works perfectly, i can access 99% of the features on my phone, the only 1% thats missing is the youtube. is there ANY way i can fix that ? i've done my research n all but youtube has yet to work.

I've been trying the same thing, and I sometimes get videos to work if they are in a list that was already updated with WiFi, like the most viewed list. As far as I can tell the video streaming portion works fine. It looks like the part that does the searches and updates and such uses a non-standard port or something that doesn't go through the proxy and gets blocked by the t-mobile network.

Has anyone on the T-Zones plan (NOT the total internet plan!) gotten youtube to work fully?

Mine was working here in the UK on Tmobile i don't know what the tariff is called but it's £1 per day unlimited (it takes £1 a day off your credit)
The settings i was using were:
APN address: general.t-mobile.uk
Username : user
Password: wap

You tube was working as i showed it to many people )

Well, I guess EDGE YouTube searches with the proxy-hacked T-Mobile plan just don't work.

same here. All I need is for youtube to work over t-zones proxy and I will be complete!
