my original phone broke, i sent it back for repair, they sent me back a brand new one....When i plug it in iTunes doesnt do anything. I want to put some music on it but can not.

Is there a app, that will let me put music on without using itunes?? Or does someone know a fix for this problem? thanks

BTW itunes tells me my phone is not activated. It is a "hacked" phone so i dont see why it's telling me this

try restarting itunes-related processes or restarting your computer, you can also try doing a hard reset of your phone-hold down menu button plus power button for 8 secs until phone turns off

What do you mean. Apple sent me a new one, then it was hacked with anysim

Resetting does nothing, iTunes thinks the phone is not activated, thats why I cant use itunes

you said it wasn't recognized, not un-activated, what firmware are you on... for 1.0.2 use PACAY, for 1.1.1 use CARNAVAL....

go to the carnaval thread provide in link above, near the end of the thread, there's a download location for CARNAVAL 0.8. Use that.
