Thumbs up Any way to restore to FACTORY settings without WiFi???

Well im trying to fix my friends phone, Its was unlocked 1.0.2 then upgraded and got bricked. I tried all different ways to get it to work but had no success. The WiFi is currently not working so other options are not available.

So now, he just wants to have the phone in factory OTB settings, so he can just sign up with ATT. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

You might be able to copy files over with your iPhone cable using iBrickr or iFuntastic. Then copy over the terminal app, and virginzer files... it may then be possible to issue the commands then directly on the iPhone without a WiFi connection and SSH?? I could be reading this wrong... but its an idea.

Yes, don't think you need wifi.. your right NoFound. Why is the WiFi not working anyway... have you checked to see if it has not renewed the IP address? I had a similar issue and fixed it by assigned a new static IP address via the router.

The program I have running is iTunes to restore iPhone to factory settings.
These are the steps I did to attempt restore iPhone from iTunes backup with the help of iPhone Data Recovery:
    2) Turn iPhone off
    3) Start iTunes
    4) Turn on phone in DFU mode
    5) Hit ok on iTunes "phone detected in recovery mode"
    6) Click "restore" on iTunes
