[Any version (1.1.2 OTB)] [Restore problem] Post HW downgrade issue(s)
Sorry for the new thread. I know the answer to my problem will most likely lie within all the other useless threads, but i really don't know what my problem actually is. So its difficult to search for...
I successfully completed the 1.1.2 OTB hardware bootloader downgrade today. I have checked my bootloader version; it is now 3.9. I carried out the downgrade in 1.1.2. When it was done, i then restored to version 1.1.1. I tried unlocking in 1.1.1. But no luck. AnySIM installed successfully, but my factory shipped 02 sim was not recognised as an authorised card. I tried again with my Vodafone UK sim. Still no luck.
I have tried restoring to 1.0.2 and unlocking, and restoring to 1.1.2, then downgrade to 1.1.1, virginise, then unlock, but all with no luck in unlocking. I then moved on to 1.0.2, tried to 'Free' with iBrickr 0.92, but that failed, with text scrolling down my screen very quiclky, over and over... I tried restoring to all versions except 1.0.0, 1.0.1, 1.1.3. But i keep getting blue screen while restoring (which takes around 10 mins each time!), and then it'll fail with error 6.
WTF is wrong with this piece of shit?? I think iBrickr has fudged my iPhone somehow. But i wonder whether the HW downgrade really did go successfully? I used Geohots NOR dump which is provided in the 'HW downgrade guide', which is only the first 0x2000000... something bytes. Is this correct, and is their a way to fully restore the bootloader? I feel restoring the software and baseband is just not quite reaching the problem area. Is there another way to FULLY RESTORE EVERYTHING??
Thanks for your help. Its really quite bugging me.

Huge "Thank You" to all those involved in jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone and for dedicating your time and patience. Keep up the good work!
