Very same here... The phone suddenly displayed 'No Service' and no matter what I did I cannot connect to the network. 911 works though.

i've unlocked many phones, even virginized my anysim 1.02 phone , upgraded to 1.1.1 then jailbreaked it using jailbreak.toc2rta.com method, ran carnival, loaded bsdsubsystem and openssh, used winscp and put anysim on there...
those all worked.
yesterday i got a week 42 phone, so straight 1.1.1 out of the box.
tried jail breaking it using jailbreakme.com it worked after 2nd time i believe.
anyways, i loaded anysim 1.1 on there and it was unlocking and it said successful.. but
when i restarted to check it out.. the service kept going in and out every 6 seconds or say.. Constantly saying T-mobile, then no service/searching and back and forth, making that chirp sound every time..
i restored and did the whole process again, this time using carnival, anysim. same thing.
what gives?
additional info: during those 6+ seconds it does have service, i was able to make an outgoing call to another cell phone and it worked.

Try Replacing the lockdownd file (goes in /usr/libexec)... i had the same problem when i unlocked mine (1.1.1) using jailbreakme and Anysim... Used the search on the forum and found the solution.
Cant remember where i got the file from... but use the search, its around here somewhere.
Hope this helps.

I've been searching but I haven't found the particular thread you were talking about. Could you perhaps shed some additional light on how you get the phone working? I assume your phone was a new OTB 1.1.1?
Thanks

Yea, mine was out the box. Although i did activate it with a legit att sim, i then jailbreaked with jailbreakme.com. installed community sources, BSD, and AnySim 1.1.
Ran Anysim ( everything went fine ) unlocked. Put in my UK sim ( as well as my Aussie Sim) and both came up with No Service. Put back in the ATT sim, and full service.
I did a bit of searching around and found that the lockdownd file might need changing, so i backed up the current on i had and uploaded a new one i found ( i cant remember for the life of me where i got it from) and then up loaded it to my phone (to /usr/libexec)
I hope this helps

I have the same problem, try to use T-mobile sim, no signal, use AT&T sim, full signal. Please help. I don't want to redo all the step again. I already did it twice.
