Nope. Gets to Pass 2. Activates fine. Fixes permissions fine. Then goes to Fix baseband issues. Completes extracting package and then gets stuck at the same thing........Trying to fix for bootloader 3.9.
Like everyone else in the same boat I am willing to try anything so please keep the advice coming!

Tried reflashing the baseband through iLiberty and it gets stuck at the same spot.

i get a bunch of 'not found' texts on the second pass.

    Anyone know why>
Make sure in iliberty you are selected which things to add on to the payload to be installed during jailbreak.

Don't extract the .tar as described in the first post - just add the .tar as it is as custom payload in iLibertyX and you'll be fine.

    Default swifi Tutorial

Okay - here is a quick tutorial for using my custom payload:

    1. Restore your iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes.
    2. Download the old iLibertyX from here: iLibertyX 1.0
    3. Start iLibertyX
    4. Select this on the "Standard"-Page:

    5. Add my payload.tar which you could get from here as custom payload:

    6. Click on "Free my iPhone"

    when iLibertyX is done:
    1. start BootNeuter on your iPhone and flash a fakeblank version
    2. start Terminal on your iPhone and type "su -" to gain root-rights (the password is alpine)
    3. type:
    Code:
    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    killall -9 CommCenter
    cd /usr/bin
    chmod +x swifi
    ./swifi
    4. you are done.
