[Advice] Registered w/ AT&T can it be unlocked?
I have searched the forum but did not find am aswer for this question, only partial answers.
I bought my iPhone it was originally 1.1.1 and now with all updates is 1.1.4.
I have registered my iPhone w/ At&T as soon as I bought it, now can it be unlocked? If so what is the best method, iLiberty+?
TIA

Yes you can "unlock" it to use it with other carriers.
But i think you maybe meant to say "Jailbreak" to be able to install 3rd party apps ?

iLiberty+ is the solution you are looking for. Just activate "Jailbreak" and make sure to add the payloads Installer and BSD Subsystem. BSD Subsystem is used by many apps you may want to install later via Installer app from the iphone.
If you run into any problems later caused by apps that screw up things, or need to get a hardware problem services you can always restore to the current firmware and activate via iTunes cause you do have your contract with AT&T.
